   Qatar drew against Syria in the second game of the Arab cup. A close game saw Syria claw a draw against Qatar with a goal that came in the 90th minute.

   Elimination after defeat against Tunisia

   Qatar was eliminated from the Arab cup after a defeat against Tunisia in the third game of the tournament. The performance and result did not sit well with the fans as they lost 3-0 to a 10-man Tunisia.
